Bilingual Content Marketing Manager

BDO Canada is looking for a Bilingual Content Marketing Manager to join the Personal Debt Solutions (PDS) business line. The role requires working Eastern Standard Time hours and overseeing PR initiatives, copywriting, and digital marketing responsibilities in a B2C environment.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the National PDS Marketplace team and external vendors to develop and execute content marketing campaigns for the full marketing funnel.
  • Develop content strategy, support the French content creation process, and use data and analytics to drive content ideation and distribution strategy.
  • Develop and manage CRM (Email) Marketing campaigns, demonstrating knowledge of email marketing fundamentals and platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance, collaborate with BDO’s SEO agency, and create high-quality, SEO-friendly content across various formats.

Content Creation

  • Outline, research, and create a variety of engaging content including website content, blogs, infographics, webinars, podcasts, and videos.
  • Collaborate with external French service providers such as translation agencies and freelance writers.
  • Manage the translation of content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Serve as an editor for digital marketing to ensure consistent tone and voice across content.

Content Distribution

  • Collaborate with the National PDS Marketplace team on optimizing content and supporting national websites and social media channels.
  • Apply SEO best practices to improve search visibility, engagement, and organic traffic.
  • Create and execute social media campaigns and manage campaign budgets.
  • Monitor content performance and create reports outlining recommendations for improvements.

Your Experience And Education

  • University degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of related experience, including hands-on experience in content creation in a B2C environment.
  • Bilingual in English and French is required; exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills in both languages.
  • Experience using a CMS platform, CRM (Email) Marketing platforms, and solid knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing relationships with SEO, translation, and creative agencies.
  • Self-starter, motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
