WHO WE ARE

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was established in 1999 as an international independent agency to lead a collaborative worldwide movement for doping‑free sport. As the global regulatory body, WADA’s primary role is to develop, harmonize and coordinate anti‑doping rules and policies across all sports and countries. Our key activities include: scientific and social science research; education; intelligence & investigations; development of anti‑doping capacity; and monitoring of compliance with the World Anti‑Doping Program.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This role oversees the unit responsible for product strategy, delivery and portfolio coordination. The role manages the Product Owner and the Change Management Lead, ensuring alignment across internal products, business priorities, and transformation activities. The incumbent provides direction, governance, and performance oversight for the Business Services program and portfolio while supporting organizational strategy and standards while being responsible for the management of the corporate digital systems (SharePoint, Business Central, Customer Relationship Management platform) as well as other SAAS platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Product Management

  • Define and maintain product strategies, roadmaps, and value propositions for Business Services;
  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including discovery, prioritization, development, delivery, and continuous improvement;
  • Ensure product initiatives align with business objectives, user needs, and organizational standards.

Program and Portfolio Management

  • Lead the overall Business Services program and portfolio, ensuring coordination, risk visibility, and timely execution of initiatives;
  • Provide portfolio-level insights and recommendations to support decision‑making by the department’s leadership;
  • Manage the Agency’s digital products and systems: Anti‑Doping E‑Learning Platform (ADEL), corporate systems (Microsoft based: SharePoint, CRM, Business Central) and other SAAS (Monday.com, Smartling, Docusign);
  • Ensure alignment with IT and other departmental units to support timely and coordinated project delivery;
  • Collaborate closely with Change Management Lead to ensure change management activities are integrated into product plans;
  • Ensure alignment across technical teams, business units, and transformation initiatives.

Reporting and Performance Management

  • Produce regular KPI and performance reports for the Director of the department;
  • Monitor product performance and value delivery, identifying opportunities for optimization.

Team Management

  • Manage and develop the staff within the unit;
  • Set priorities, assign responsibilities, and ensure effective team performance and collaboration;
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure product and change activities are integrated and aligned.

MAIN CHALLENGES

  • As the digital transformation is ongoing, the person needs to be able to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in project management, organizational development, technology, or other relevant field;
  • Experience in the development and management of digital assets;
  • Experience of using Learner Management Systems (LMS), including providing customer support;
  • Experience of collaboration and stakeholder management (internal and external) and providing a high‑quality service for stakeholders;
  • 3 years of experience in Project Management;
  • Expertise in change management with a track record of successfully driving change;
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing SharePoint or similar;
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence is an asset);
  • Highly developed interpersonal and collaborative skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, with or without supervision, or as part of a cross‑functional team and organization, in a structured and organized manner;
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills – ability to write and speak clearly to easily communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand;
  • Excellent oral and written skills in one of the two WADA official languages (English / French) and very good command of the other official language; additional languages would be an asset;
