About the Institute
The RI‑MUHC is a world‑renowned biomedical research centre, the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and affiliated with McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine. It receives partial support from the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
We seek an experienced EDI professional to implement the equity, diversity and inclusion plan for multicentre research studies and teams across all pediatric hospitals in Canada (POPCORN) and to support other child health equity trials.
General Duties
- Assist in the planning and delivery of EDI and community of practice activities
- Assist in writing study protocols and manuscripts
- Manage procedures with the Research Ethics Board and Contracts Office (protocol approvals, amendments, renewals)
- Collaborate with the national research team
- Engage with diverse stakeholders
- Design mixed‑methods and community‑based participatory research protocols
- Administer questionnaires and collect qualitative and quantitative data
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
- Conduct literature reviews, including systematic reviews and meta‑analysis
- Help oversee volunteers and trainees
- Assist in knowledge translation activities

Required Skills

Work experience in health research and familiarity with EDI initiatives.
Status
Temporary, full time (35‑hour workweek)
Pay Scale
$49 722.40 – $92 346.80 (commensurate with education and experience)
Work Shift
Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm
