Role Overview
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding GAV MGMT’s client base across Canada. Acting as the first point of contact for new prospects, you’ll identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities to build a strong, high-quality sales pipeline.
This role is ideal for a motivated and results-driven individual eager to develop a long-term career in business development within a fast-growing technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new prospects across key verticals (retail, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, education).
- Conduct proactive outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, and referrals.
- Qualify leads based on industry relevance, project scope, and readiness for discussion.
- Research target accounts to uncover stakeholders, project opportunities, and organizational structures.
- Document insights and map contacts within the buying journey.
Discovery Meeting Scheduling
- Schedule qualified meetings for sales representatives.
- Confirm interest, gather preliminary project details, and align opportunities with sales priorities.
Proposal Support
- Assist in preparing proposals by gathering internal and client materials (floorplans, site photos, timelines).
- Populate proposal templates and input data into quoting tools.
CRM Management & Data Integrity
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM for all contacts, accounts, and interactions.
- Organize leads by stage, source, industry, and region to support visibility and reporting.
Marketing & Campaign Follow-Up
- Support marketing campaigns through timely, personalized outreach.
- Re-engage contacts who download content, click email links, or attend events.
Reporting & Internal Communication
- Provide clear weekly reports on activity, performance, and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to align priorities and ensure seamless lead handoffs.
