This role is the Head of IT, responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of the company’s IT environment. While the API platform is developed and maintained by the Engineering team, the Head of IT provides overall security governance, IT operations oversight, and enterprise systems management. This role ensures corporate IT services, internal tools, and governance frameworks operate smoothly, meet regulatory standards, and support both employees and platform operations.

What You’ll Do

Governance & Compliance

  • Own enterprise-wide IT governance, policies, and risk management frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry certifications.
  • Oversee security governance, working closely with Engineering.
  • Establish IT audit readiness and lead responses to compliance assessments.

IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Oversee day-to-day operation of corporate IT infrastructure, cloud services, and productivity platforms.
  • Ensure reliable identity and access management, secure connectivity, and high availability of IT services.
  • Monitor IT performance and implement processes for incident management, problem resolution, and business continuity.
  • Drive service delivery excellence with clear KPIs, reporting, and accountability.

Security Oversight

  • Provide enterprise-level oversight of information security policies and controls.
  • Coordinate with Engineering / Security on platform-related security risk management.
  • Manage incident response processes and ensure timely resolution of security-related issues.
  • Oversee data governance, privacy, and secure information handling across the organization.
  • Manage IT vendors, service providers, and key contracts, ensuring performance against SLAs.
  • Lead and develop the IT operations team, with a focus on service reliability and compliance.
  • Optimize costs and ensure effective resource allocation for IT operations and governance.

Employee & Business Support

  • Ensure robust IT support services, enabling employees to work productively and securely.
  • Oversee provisioning, lifecycle management, and decommissioning of IT assets.
  • Implement processes for onboarding / offboarding, access management, and policy enforcement.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior IT management role.
  • Strong track record in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services, and IT operations.
  • Expertise in security governance, compliance frameworks, and risk management.
  • Experience leading company-wide IT and security initiatives in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Background in IT operations for high-growth companies.
  • Familiarity with AIOps and automation in IT service management.
  • Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
