Senior Marketing Manager – Sushi Shop
MTY Group family of brands and as the marketing lead for the brand you will be responsible for providing leadership in the planning, development and implementation of Food & Beverage innovation and strategic consumer marketing activities to drive growth and profitability.
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing integrated marketing strategies for the brand. They ensure marketing activities align with brand objectives, oversee food and beverage innovation, and directly contribute to growth and profitability.
The role acts as a strategic leader for internal teams, franchisees, and external partners, playing a key role in annual planning, campaign execution, and brand performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan and media strategy.
- Oversee brand studies and research to support decision-making.
- Ensure initiatives align with strategic directions and performance goals.
- Develop menu strategy (engineering, pricing adjustments, profitability analysis).
- Manage the price increase process in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Create clear and comprehensive briefs for internal teams and suppliers.
- Supervise, train, and develop the marketing specialist team.
- Oversee campaign execution and ensure their effectiveness.
- Monitor sales, traffic, and sales mix using Power BI.
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports and make recommendations.
- Generate regular reports for management and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and ensure alignment.
- Collaborate with franchisees, operations, suppliers, and shared services.
- Communicate with the franchise advisory board regarding marketing, menus, and budgets.
- Lead special brand-related projects.
- Develop and implement innovation initiatives from ideation to commercialization.
Profile / Qualifications
- University degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of management experience, ideally in the food industry, franchise context, or agency setting.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, engage, and inspire a team.
- Sharp business acumen and ability to translate analysis into actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing ambiguity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good knowledge of digital marketing tools.
