Overview
Purpose : Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Planner ensures the smooth running of operations, managing production, inventory, and distribution of the LBS product range. He or she provides support to the QC Department regarding projects and operational emergencies.
Essential Functions
Quality Management
- Answer specific requests from customers on logistic and QC related issues.
- Support QC and QA for BRC certification for Lallemand Baking Solutions (North America)
Production Management
- Verify product inventories of LBS dough conditioners
- Manage ingredient changes in production
- Manage distribution of these products throughout Lallemand and AYS warehouses
- Continuous follow-up on sales, new customers, and production to ensure proper inventories
- Evaluation of the needs of raw materials for each production facility
- Reception of raw materials in the system and in the needed files
- Coordinate raw material needs with purchasing
- Other related tasks
