Overview

The team for which we are recruiting belongs to the Risk Metrics department that aims at supporting and developing tools for that department. You will join the feature team (4 people) in charge of that application.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Analysts to understand the need, help identify the best technical approach, and estimate the effort.
  • Develop new features, improve existing applications, and fix bugs.
  • Demonstrate features to stakeholders and product owners to gain a solid understanding of the business and gather feedback on work delivered.
  • Participate in Scrum-related activities, such as daily stand-up meetings, backlog grooming, sprint retrospectives, and demos.
  • Improve and automate transversal tasks around CI / CD or Observability frameworks.
  • Take ownership of new projects, contribute, fix, and refactor the current code base.
  • Provide visibility to management and supply the necessary indicators for decision-making.

Required qualifications

  • Education and level of experience: University degree in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role (full-stack developer)
  • Ability to work with complex information systems
  • Knowledge of the market finance universe (equity markets, interest rates, derivatives, etc.)
  • Organized, methodical, analytical
  • Communication skills: English / French Fluent
  • Skills and aptitudes: .NET
  • Experience with Angular
  • DB: SQL Server / Oracle / Postgres
  • Experience and knowledge in Credit financial business
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
  • CI tools: Git / Jenkins / SonarQube / XL Deploy / JFrog
  • Agile Scrum (Jira)

Nice to have

  • Java (Spring, SpringBoot, Hibernate)
  • Experience with React or Blazor
  • Workload Automation (Autosys)
  • Elastic Search / Grafana
  • Bilingual English / French would be an asset

Languages

French, English: Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
