Job Title:

IT Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of the IT strategy in line with the company's business objectives.
• Oversee IT infrastructure: servers, storage, networks, site connectivity, office automation, and workstations.
• Lead and supervise the IT support team and subcontractors.
• Ensure overall IT security (cybersecurity, compliance, incident detection and response).
• Implement security, IT governance, access management, and backup policies.
• Manage vendor contracts, license renewals, and technology projects.
• Coordinate IT interventions during peak periods, particularly during the winter season.
• Collaborate closely with operations to ensure the continuous availability of critical technology tools.
• Monitor technology and recommend relevant innovations.
• Provide user training and awareness.
• Monitor performance indicators.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including at least 5 years in a management role.
• Solid understanding of network environments, Microsoft 365, Windows servers, cybersecurity, and IT support solutions.
• Proven leadership skills, ability to manage a multi-site team and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a demanding operational environment (e.g., transportation, logistics, essential services) is an asset.
