As a ServiceNow Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of ServiceNow platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with various systems and applications, driving business value and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integration between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Servers, and JDBC.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including architects, business analysts, and third-party vendors to understand integration requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Build custom workflows, data mappings, and process automations using ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and Flow Designer.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues through root cause analysis, leveraging logging tools, debugging techniques, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure all integration solutions adhere to client's best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, including data flows, architecture diagrams, and system configurations.
  • Apply knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, Basic Auth, and certificates for secure API integrations.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or postgraduate in Technology with Computers or Information Technology (IT) stream.
  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

  • Design and develop integration solutions using ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST APIs, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement best practices for ServiceNow integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing timely support to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Document integration processes and maintain comprehensive records for future reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends to continuously improve integration strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take independent initiative when needed.
  • Capital Markets Domain knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to effectively interact with stakeholders in implementation of new functionality and solving problems.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Capability to coordinate and execute projects assigned. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
