Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Data Platform Developer to support and enhance a GCP-based data analytics platform, working closely with the Data Operations team to streamline processes and enable new features for the data analyst and AI community ( Remote; Canada ) [-64].
Overview
This role supports a data platform sustainment project focused on enhancing GCP data infrastructure (BigQuery, Dataflow, PubSub, Airflow, Cloud Storage), Gitlab, Dataplex, and Collibra. The candidate will perform maintenance, upgrades, and feature enablement, troubleshoot data processing issues, and support CI/CD and promotion releases on a small team.
Exigences
Must Haves
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Platform Developer or similar role
- Strong hands-on GCP technical knowledge (BigQuery, Dataflow, PubSub, Airflow, Cloud Storage)
- Python and SQL proficiency
- Gitlab / CI/CD experience, including promotion release support
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving data processing issues
Nice to Have
- Experience with Dataplex and Collibra
- Experience working within a Data Operations team model
