:HRSS- Absence Management / Salary Continuance Support Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist (12-month contract) to support the Absence team with the delivery of the Salary Continuance (SalCon) program.
This role will focus on the day-to-day operational administration of employee leaves, supporting employees through complex absence events while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a consistent employee experience.
What will you do?
Support administration of the Salary Continuance (SalCon) process across the leave lifecycle, including transition to Long-Term disability. (intake, documentation, monitoring, and follow-up)
Provide employee guidance and support for leave-related inquiries (email, phone, case management)
Complete case setup, documentation, and communication, including issuance of required forms
Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, Disability Case Management, and HR partners to ensure accurate case handling
Support activities related to stop pay, reinstatement, and end-of-coverage communications
Maintain data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established processes
What do you need to succeed?
Experience in absence management, disability support, HR operations, or benefits administration
Strong understanding of employee leave processes (e.g., STD, LTD, return-to-work)
Ability to manage high-volume, detail-oriented case work • Strong communication and organizational skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred:
Experience in Disability Case Management or Salary Continuance programs
Familiarity with Workday, payroll systems, or HR case management tools
Experience working in a HR Shared Services environment
As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide
