About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Facilities and Operations Coordinator acts as a key link between procurement and facility operations, ensuring the smooth execution of internal processes and supporting various teams. The role includes creating purchase orders, serving as a point of contact for suppliers and clients, and supporting warehouse supervisors. The coordinator also plays a key role in event planning, vendor coordination, and project support
** This is a temporary contract until March 2027 **Responsibilities
Procurement (Purchasing)
- Create purchase orders for all internal services and facility operations (warehouse, garage, distribution)
- Track outstanding payments and pending orders
- Obtain and process quotes and proposals from contractors
- Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, subcontractors, and clients for service coordination
Operations Team Support
- Support onboarding and integration of new employees
- Update health and safety dashboards
- Track and support training initiatives with operations supervisors
- Follow up on inspections and identify required actions
- Participate in and follow up on Health & Safety committee activities
- Ensure compliance with internal warehouse policies
Qualifications
- College or university degree
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Experience in project coordination or operations management
- Results-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and a strong team spirit
