As a Retirement Pricing Actuary on the Retirement and Wealth Finance team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the US and Canada Retirement businesses by managing Retirement pricing models and conducting financial analysis for Guaranteed Products, such as the Stable Value Fund in the US and the Guaranteed Interest Account in Canada.
Your work will involve producing critical analyses to assist stakeholders, including Senior Management, Pricing, and Risk Management, thereby directly contributing to our mission of optimizing financial outcomes and ensuring robust product governance.

Position Responsibilities:
Serve as Retirement Pricing Actuary providing expert input across various product pricing initiatives and projects in US and Canada markets.
Ownership of guaranteed products portfolio, including playing the role of model expert on all guaranteed products modelling and model management activities.
Steward pricing assumptions for Retirement products, including ongoing monitoring of key experience-related assumptions.
Demonstrate a strong understanding Retirement Recordkeeping business, pricing framework, including capital requirements under both US and Canada regulatory frameworks.
Facilitate collaboration with various pricing partners to support pricing strategies, risk management, capital management and ALM activities for Balance Sheet supported products.
Support underwriting of large opportunities through leading pension plan level financial analysis, overall pricing, pricing credits, and monitoring of sales incentive programs’ performance. This will include developing models to support Plan Level analysis, producing financial reports, and providing insights on key performance indicators.
Support financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
Assess pricing initiatives' impact on profitability and other key metrics, driven by strategic business considerations.
Partner with Product, Pricing, Actuarial, Risk, Capital Management, ALM, and other collaborators to achieve business and company goals.
Support ongoing optimization of business and modelling processes, including automation of manual processes.
Required Qualifications:
University degree in Accounting, Actuarial Studies, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields, with substantial experience in progressive finance roles. Professional designation preferred (FSA, FCIA, ASA, ACIA, etc.).
Proven work experience in financial, pricing, or actuarial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
Experience in IFRS reporting and capital management, with a proven track record of applying these skills within the context of retirement finance and pricing strategies.
Advanced or expert-level knowledge of Moody’s AXIS, Integrated Asset-Liability modelling, Excel, Financial Modeling, Reporting programs, VBA coding, PowerPoint.
Self-starter with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments within the organization.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; innovative and strategic problem solver.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse groups.
Ability to work both independently and within a team to support broader Retirement initiatives.
Capable of making recommendations based on sound judgment from financial, pricing, and actuarial data and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of United States and Canada retirement products, and balance sheet based investments products with embedded guarantees.
Strong business sense with the ability to communicate technical concepts and pricing results clearly and concisely.
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.
