Power Platform Data Analyst (Level 3) Duration: 1-Year Contract Location: Montreal, QC Hybrid Role: 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Data Analyst to join a high-performing analytics and process optimization team focused on improving organizational efficiency through data-driven insights, automation, and modern technologies such as GenAI. This role involves designing and delivering impactful Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable analytics products. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business insights and decision-making. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into analytical solutions. - Develop and maintain data pipelines, data transformations, and business logic using Power Query (M), DAX, and SQL. - Create clear documentation for dashboards, datasets, metrics definitions, and data sources. - Provide end-user support, training, and troubleshooting, ensuring high adoption and usability of reporting tools. - Continuously enhance reporting solutions by incorporating feedback and identifying optimization opportunities. Required Skills & Experience - 5–7 years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years in data analytics / business intelligence roles. - Strong expertise in: - Microsoft Power BI (Desktop & Service) - DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) - Power Query (M Language) - Hands-on experience with Power Platform tools: - Power Apps - Power Automate - Dataverse - Solid proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and analysis. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present insights effectively. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in financial services, investment banking, or related domains. - Exposure to emerging technologies, particularly Generative AI use cases and applications. - Familiarity with Snowflake (including Snowflake Cortex) is a plus.
