Digital Transformation Project Manager ROLE OVERVIEW: Digital Transformation Project Manager The Digital Transformation Project Manager plays a critical role in driving innovation and transformation initiatives within a live MRO environment. This individual operates at the intersection of operations, engineering, and technology, leading the implementation of digital tools, process improvements, and emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—across engine maintenance operations. This is not a traditional project management or coordination role, but an execution-driven leadership position responsible for ensuring that complex initiatives move from concept to implementation and are successfully adopted within the operation. The Digital Transformation Project Manager must operate independently, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams. Success in this role requires strong organizational discipline, the ability to influence without authority, and a practical, results-oriented approach to implementing change in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Digital Transformation Project Manager - Lead the execution of multiple concurrent technical projects across engineering, operations, and maintenance environments from planning through implementation. - Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones while coordinating deliverables across internal teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders. - Drive the implementation of digital tools, AI-enabled technologies, and operational process improvements within live production and MRO environments. - Coordinate software integrations, system rollouts, and workflow improvements across ERP systems, operational platforms, and shop-floor processes. - Partner with engineering, operations, and development teams to identify inefficiencies, resolve execution challenges, and maintain project momentum. - Support the redesign and standardization of manual workflows, reporting structures, and operational processes to improve scalability and efficiency. - Lead user training, onboarding, and adoption efforts to ensure newly implemented tools and systems are successfully integrated into day-to-day operations. REQUIREMENTS: Technical Project Manager - 5+ years of experience leading technical or operational projects with direct ownership over execution, implementation, and delivery outcomes. - Proven experience implementing systems, digital tools, or process improvements within manufacturing, aerospace, industrial, or MRO environments. - Strong understanding of operational and engineering environments, including production workflows, technical teams, and process-driven operations. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, priorities, timelines, and stakeholders within fast-paced environments. - Experience driving execution and influencing cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority or formal organizational control. - Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across technical, operational, and leadership teams. - Aviation or aerospace experience is preferred, though candidates from complex industrial or manufacturing transformation environments will also be considered.
