Summer Childcare Position (Mid-June to End of July)
We are seeking a reliable and caring individual for a short-term summer position to support our family with childcare and related tasks.
Schedule : Monday to Thursday
4 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 PM (with the option to start at 3 : 00 PM)
From approximately June 15 to the end of July (flexible by about one week on either side)
Children :
One infant (5 months old)
One toddler (3.5 years old)
Responsibilities :
Arrive at our home and use the family car to pick up the children
Bring them home safely
Engage in playtime and age-appropriate activities
Prepare and serve meals / snacks for the children
Support evening routines, including putting the toddler to bed around 7 : 30 PM
If starting at 3 : 00 PM, additional tasks include :
Meal preparation for the children
Light housekeeping related to the children (tidying, children’s laundry, keeping kitchen / play areas clean)
Requirements :
Experience with both infants and toddlers
Valid driver’s license and comfort driving
Reliable, punctual, and responsible
Able to manage two young children simultaneously
References required
Compensation : 20 CAD per hour
Additional Information :
Payment will be made through the banking system (no cash)
Background and reference checks will be conducted
