As a Game Intelligence Analyst at Ubisoft Montreal, you will help turn game data into meaningful, actionable insights that support creative teams and improve player experiences. As part of the Canada Analytics Team (CAT), your work will place player behaviors and motivations at the center of the decision making process, combining advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis across multiple data sources.
What you’ll do
- Partner closely with production teams to understand game related needs and translate them into research questions
- Collaborate with other teams specialized in research and data analytics
- Design, explore, analyze, and combine multiple data sources to uncover insights, trends, and predictions
- Conduct in depth studies that support strategy and decision making
- Translate analytical results into clear data visualizations and narratives
- Present findings and recommendations, and discuss action plans for implementation
- Use project management principles to coordinate tracking efforts and production resources
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of data tools and processes
- Support the creation of new processes and the optimization of existing ones
Qualifications
What you bring to the team
- Work confidently with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Use SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
- Communicate effectively with cross functional teams
- Explain complex information clearly to different audiences
- Apply research methods to analyze player behavior and game systems
- Propose practical and actionable improvements based on data
- Show strong interest in the video game industry
- Nice to have: experience with PySpark and Databricks
- Nice to have: understanding of player safety systems, including moderation, reputation, and positive play
