Overview

IT Project Manager
REMOTE: Local to Western Canada, Alberta, British Columbia or Ontario working Western Time Zone.

Provincial or Federal Government experience preferred.

Exigences

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Security clearance is required or the ability to obtain one though us.
• 10 years related large IT project experience in excess of 25M.

Qualifications

• University graduation in business, management, or related discipline & 4-yr Project Management (PM) experience.
• PMP certification
• Experience working as a Project Manager on a large complex software application development project in an environment of similar size and complexity to the Government of Canada.
• *Experience must be described in resume
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• *Experience must be described in resume
• Experience defining project vision, scope, and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.
• Experience managing custom application development projects with at least 5 team members.
• *Experience must be described in resume
• Experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations.
• Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across and outside the organization, including executive level.

Responsabilités

• Experience leading project governance, change management and communication activities.
• Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
• Experience working in or for the public sector.
• Experience working with Mandated and Legislated Projects within short timelines.
• Experience making decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex business issues and without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness.
• Experience with End User Computing (EUC) process.
• Experience with the complexities of Federal/Provincial jurisdiction.

Expérience requise

• Experience working the technical teams on complex IMT projects.
• Experience conducting, facilitating, and interpreting impact and risk assessments.
• Experience creating and managing project forecasts and budgets.
• Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent (attach a copy of the certificate)
• Do you have related Canadian education (e.g., certificate, diploma, or degree).
