Information Security Engineer II

Title: Information Security Analyst
Duration: 6 Months with potential extension
Location: Montreal, QC

Introduction

Join our dynamic team as we strive to enhance the security framework within the US/Americas Information Security department, focusing on areas such as Identity & Access Management, Application Security, Third Party Security, Data Security, and Cyber Defense.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable speaking with all levels of management
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Experience in data classification and procedure/control design
• Knowledge in shared drives, SharePoint structure, and data-ownership governance
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Prior work experience in Banking/ financial industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field
• Information security experience
• Knowledge of scripting/automation, Python scripting abilities a plus

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Assist with defining the technical solution and adapt the remediation to local specificities
• Formalize and draft processes with associated controls, including archiving, manual and bulk tagging, use of LLM tool to classify, and quarantine processes
• Ensure alignment of all stakeholders with the proposed processes
• Help with the first remediation campaign for the AMER region and facilitate handover to the headcount responsible for ongoing controls
