A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics
Job Summary
We are looking for a communications strategist who will develop and execute strategies to ensure alignment among operations employees and business partners, while contributing to the consistency of internal and external messaging. This role is critical in supporting network operational performance, station expansion, and the quality of relationships with delivery partners and corporate clients.
You will work closely with internal teams, including Public Relations, to ensure cohesive and proactive communications that support our operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational communication strategies to strengthen alignment and engagement among employees and partners.
- Collaborate with the Public Relations team to ensure message consistency and support the company’s reputation, particularly during new station openings.
Create targeted communication plans to:
Support operational performance and efficiency.
Enable station expansion and integration of new facilities.
Maintain strong relationships with delivery partners and corporate clients.
- Develop communication tools and produce clear, engaging content (memos, bulletins, guides, newsletters, press releases) tailored to diverse audiences.
- Ensure message consistency in a fragmented and international environment.
- Measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
Profil recherché
- Proven experience in strategic communications, with a focus on internal and partner communications.
- Strong ability to translate operational objectives into clear, compelling messages.
- Knowledge of operational processes and continuous improvement principles (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Excellent writing, simplification, and storytelling skills.
- Collaborative leadership and ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Industrial Relations, or a related field; Master’s degree an asset.
- 10+ years of experience in communications within a large organization (internal and external); experience managing stakeholders (clients and partners).
- Experience in a multi-site, multi-time-zone environment.
- Knowledge of the logistics or e-commerce sector.
- Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and business partners.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken French and English; a third language is an asset.
- Flexibility, diplomacy, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Sensitivity to community relations and social acceptability issues.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools, collaborative platforms, Microsoft 365, and AI tools.
Conditions spéciales
- Position based in Montreal, Quebec, with occasional travel to stations; flexible schedule during operational events (ramp-up/peak periods, openings).
