• Pay Details: $156,500 - $190,000 CAD

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of AI/ML professionals; provide technical leadership across the AI function.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of applied machine learning scientists.
• Lead conceptualization, design, and delivery of AI/ML systems to solve complex business problems.
• Provide thought leadership and develop innovative methodologies in AI/ML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and implement analytic solutions.
• Translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions and deliver enterprise-level insights.
• Act as a business partner to guide and prioritize strategic initiatives and analytical needs.
• Drive continuous improvement through monitoring systems, feedback loops, and trend analysis.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous learning.
• As Senior AMLS, Conversational AI, CPB AI2, manage a team developing Conversational AI systems, including RAGs like the TD Virtual Assistant; collaborate with Layer 6 to evolve RAG systems.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Finance, Computer Science).
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML or related fields.
• Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams with mentorship and performance development.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
• Strong strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Extensive understanding of business operations and enterprise-level analytics.
• Experience with large-scale data systems and advanced machine learning techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to provide specialized knowledge across multiple AI domains.
