Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join our IT team at Nouveau Monde Graphite, a responsible Quebec-based mining company focused on carbon‑neutral graphite materials.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Director, IT, you will develop interactive dashboards and visual reports in Power BI to support strategic projects and help our business units make informed decisions.

• Design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Collect, clean and process data using dataflows from various sources (databases, Excel files, CRM, ERP).
• Maintain the quality and integrity of the analysis data.
• Work with NMG’s teams to understand their needs and translate these needs into analytical solutions.
• Create data models that are optimized for performance and usability.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support decisions.
• Document any processes, templates and reports created.
• Maintain security and govern data stored in Power BI.

Your Skills Profile

• University degree in IT management, statistics, mathematics or a related field.
• At least 2 to 3 years of practical experience with Power BI and BI tools, including experience with ERP data.
• Knowledge of Azure environments, ETL or other integration tools (an asset).
• Excellent knowledge of Power BI (Power Query, DAX, interactive report creation).
• Solid skills with SQL and database manipulation.
