Summary
The Digital Inventory Manager oversees and manages digital inventory on all our sites/platforms/devices for all products and sales channels. They ensure forecast accuracy, answer related questions, support national and local sales teams, account managers, and optimize digital yield. They are involved in all digital projects and craft numerous reports/dashboards for internal and external stakeholders including content partnerships and special agency deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee/manage BM digital inventory day-to-day, including requests, bookings, avails, challenges, and processes. Minimize Rev at Risk and UDs by suggesting optimization to account managers. Constantly improve forecast accuracy and assist with special projects such as sponsorships or tent pole events. Work closely with Product, Content, and Prog teams to enhance viewability, completion rate, and overall yield.
- Reporting & Analysis: Produce, analyse, and improve deliver/revenue reports that are easily interpreted. Ensure reports capture up-to-date values consistently. Create dashboards to drive business decisions and support Finance and Content teams for various partnerships. Handle special agency deals and programmatic reporting from Looker (CPR, Agency, revenue, monetization).
- Special Projects: Participate in new digital projects to evaluate inventory and forecast tools. Perform ongoing tasks and projects aligned with career goals and company objectives.
Critical Qualifications
- Strong knowledge or proficiency in Ad Server technologies such as Google Ad Manager, Triton, Cadent, Slimcut, Freewheel, etc.
- Ability to leverage BI platforms and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Proactive with demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Knowledge of programmatic metrics and post-auction reports.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of IAB ad formats and emerging digital trends.
- Comprehensive understanding of campaign success and reporting metrics including viewability.
- Provide insights and actionable reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of company capabilities and the ability to effectively communicate all offerings.
- Bilingualism (English and French); position works with teams in Quebec and the rest of Canada.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years related experience in Ad Operations, Technical Account Management, Programmatic, Project Management, Revenue Management, or Product Management in the digital media industry.
- University degree or equivalent in business administration, technology, or marketing with a strong technical and analytical background.
Additional Requirements
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
