WHO YOU ARE
You are a dynamic, curious, and strategic digital marketer with strong leadership skills and deep expertise in SEO. You thrive in environments where you can guide clients, mentor teammates, and translate complex SEO opportunities into clear business impact.
We are looking for a forward-thinking SEO Sr. Account Manager to join our growing SEO team. This role requires a strong understanding of SEO best practices, strategic planning, and client communication. You will be responsible for leading key client accounts, ensuring the delivery of impactful SEO strategies across Organic Search, Content Marketing, and Netlinking. Optimizing clients’ products across retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, and other big-box retailers for omnichannel success will also be part of your mandate.
You will report to the Director of Performance.
This role requires a hands-on, organized, and analytical mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment while managing multiple clients and priorities.
The role is based in Montreal, with a hybrid model (1–2 days per week at the office).
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead day-to-day account management and delivery using our project management platform
- Oversee and execute 360° SEO strategies across e-commerce, content, and technical SEO environments
- Guide clients through performance insights, opportunities, and strategic recommendations
- Own monthly analytics, reporting, and presentation of performance results to clients
- Conduct advanced technical SEO audits (site performance, indexability, international SEO, accessibility, etc.)
- Oversee competitor research and market analysis to inform strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with our SEO Strategist to ensure flawless execution of roadmap and strategic priorities
- Develop and manage content plans aligned with business goals, consumer moments, and seasonality
- Coordinate with internal teams (Content, Media, CRO, Analytics) to ensure integrated delivery
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring strong communication, expectation management, and value delivery
EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES
- Previous experience in a digital marketing agency (strongly preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including client-facing responsibilities
- Strong familiarity with analytics and CRO platforms
- Proficiency with essential SEO tools (Screaming Frog, MOZ, aHrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Brightedge or similar enterprise tools, Sitebulb, SEMrush)
- Working knowledge of HTML and Python and/or AI prompt optimization (required)
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO, content strategy, and competitive analysis
- Experience managing multiple clients simultaneously
