About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, and on-premises infrastructure. This role involves ensuring security, reliability, automation, and scalability across a wide range of technologies, with a strong focus on innovation and operational excellence. This position will also act as a backup buddy for other senior team members, ensuring continuity and reliable IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Own, manage and support Microsoft 365 services including but not limited to SharePoint Online, Exchange, Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Manage and administer Active Directory and domain services, including group policies, identity management, and DNS / DHCP.
- Configure, Manage Windows and Linux servers in both physical and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V), SAN storage, UPS and high availability systems.
- Automate IT tasks and processes using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and other relevant tools.
- Develop scripts and automation workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Manage backup and recovery solutions, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements and SLAs.
- Own and manage, employee accounts provisioning automations, Microsoft Intune, and asset inventory systems.
- Implement system updates, apply patches, and enforce security best practices across servers, applications, and infrastructure.
- Maintain and troubleshoot security solutions such as Firewalls, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Email security system.
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in escalated end-user support tickets requiring advanced troubleshooting.
- Develop, maintain, and improve clear system documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate on departmental projects and cross-functional IT initiatives.
