We are seeking a highly motivated, bilingual IT Project Director to lead and oversee the delivery of all IT and business projects across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for establishing governance, driving execution, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is both a structured thinker and an active doer—comfortable rolling up their sleeves, building ways of working, and ensuring projects are delivered with excellence.
Provide day-to-day governance of all projects, ensuring consistency, accountability, and visibility across the portfolio. Establish and maintain frameworks, processes, and standards (including RACIs, charters, and scorecards) to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities. Develop and enforce project management best practices across IT and business initiatives. Execution & Delivery
Act as the hands-on lead for all projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Manage project lifecycles end-to-end, from initiation through delivery and post-implementation reviews. Drive proactive risk identification and mitigation. Stakeholder Management
Meet regularly with project teams, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks. Facilitate strong cross-functional collaboration across IT, business units, and external partners. Ensure the right stakeholders are engaged at the right time in the decision-making process. Communication & Reporting
Build and maintain clear communication channels between project teams, business leaders, and executives. Deliver timely updates, dashboards, and presentations to ensure leadership has visibility into project status and performance. Act as a trusted advisor and act as the right hand to the VP of IT and senior leadership on project priorities and resourcing needs. Team & Process Development
Mentor and develop project managers and coordinators within the team. Continuously evaluate and refine ways of working to improve efficiency, agility, and project outcomes. Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration. Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree an asset). 10+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience managing both infrastructure and ERP projects is a definite asset. Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT and business projects. Expertise in project governance, frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Hybrid), and RACIs. Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both in French and English (oral and written). Hands-on, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
