We are partnering with a major Quebec-based company, well established across Canada and the United States, currently experiencing sustained growth in the specialized distribution sector.

With over 3,000 employees and more than 120 locations across North America, this organization is investing heavily in modernizing its technology environments and continuously improving its IT services.

In this context, they are looking to add a passionate IT Support Technician , someone who is tech-savvy and customer-focused, ready to thrive in a dynamic, high-interaction environment.

The role is based in Ville Saint-Laurent with a hybrid work model .

Key Responsibilities

User Support

Provide level 1 or 2 technical support to employees across multiple sites

Respond to incoming calls, emails, and tickets in a high-volume environment

Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and network issues

Install, configure, and maintain workstations, peripherals, printers, and office equipment

Assist users with Microsoft 365 tools, Windows 10 / 11, and internal applications

Deliver prompt, professional, and customer-focused support

Operations & Projects

Participate in the deployment of new workstations, meeting rooms, and on-site equipment

Collaborate with the infrastructure team for escalation and resolution of complex incidents

Document interventions and ensure proper ticket follow-up using the ticketing system (JIRA)

Actively contribute to process improvement and knowledge base updates

Profile

Education & Experience

DEP, AEC, or DEC in Computer Science or equivalent

1 to 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or technical services

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 / 11 and Office 365 environments

Basic understanding of networking (TCP / IP, VPN, RDP) and Active Directory

Familiarity with JIRA (an asset)

Skills & Qualities

Strong customer service mindset and proactive attitude

Solid problem-solving and analytical skills

Team player with autonomy and initiative

Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Bilingual : Fluency in French and English required to support users outside of Quebec

Contract Details

Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours / week)
