We are growing and expanding our DEV team, seeking a passionate Information Systems & Digital Architect with an industrial background to ensure the performance of technological solutions deployed to our clients across Canada.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical needs to design tailored digital architectures.
- Define and recommend architecture solutions aligned with company standards, cybersecurity best practices, and project constraints (cost, schedule, quality).
- Lead and support the implementation of target information systems in close collaboration with project teams.
- Maintain and update system maps and reference documentation.
- Ensure consistency, performance, and scalability of implemented architectures.
- Monitor technology trends and propose improvements to address evolving standards and obsolescence.
- Supervise and mentor architects or technical experts within the assigned scope.
- Advise senior management on technology choices, vendors, and strategic directions.
- Represent the architecture function across business units, governance bodies, and IT communities.
Required Skills & Profile
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing and optimizing IT architectures in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of business processes and their translation into digital solutions.
- Experience working in Agile, collaborative environments and enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Ability to lead and engage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong advisory and influencing skills with diverse stakeholders, including executives.
- In-depth knowledge of technical standards and cybersecurity practices.
- Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and innovative approach.
- Ability to operate in a highly complex environment and manage conflicting priorities.
