Overview
Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. Our client sells tailor-made marketing programs used by banks, insurance companies, retailers, and others to build customer loyalty. We are looking for a business development rep in Montreal who is used to selling a service with a sales cycle in excess of 12 months and selling value rather than price. This role is to find and nurture net new business.

Responsibilities
- Identify prospects based on our qualified profiles
- Work on RFPs with internal teams and manage the process
- Design a strategic plan for market penetration and execute
- Qualify opportunities and generate proposals
- By being creative, you will find solutions for prospects
- Negotiate agreements
- Manage, simultaneously, multiple, short-term and long-term opportunities
- Collaborate with internal resources especially project managers and upper management
- Participate in industry events where you will build knowledge and contacts
- Update company CRM regularly
- Meet company-set quarterly objective
Qualifications
- Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%
- Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%
- Languages: French and English
- Training: Full on the job training provided
- Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required
- Years of experience: At least 5 years consultative sales experience
- Has successfully sold into sales cycle greater than 12 months and with a total value of at least $500,000
- You have a solutions selling mindset
- You have a successful track record of new business sales
