In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of innovative technology solutions across multiple locations within the region. You will play a key role in shaping the IT strategy to align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives, ensuring that our technology resources are used efficiently and effectively. As the Regional Senior IT Director, you will lead and mentor a talented team of IT professionals, while also collaborating with senior leadership and the US CEO and US IT team to identify and address technology needs that will enhance productivity and operational effectiveness. You will manage the budget for the IT department, making decisions that balance cost efficiency with the need for cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, a strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a passion for driving digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the regional IT strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Manage and oversee IT projects like business integration, M&A IT alignment and ERP Consolidations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead and mentor a regional team of IT professionals to enhance performance and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with regional and organizational IT policies, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technology-related challenges and opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze IT trends and advancements to advise on potential improvements including cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to maximize value and minimize costs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior IT management role, preferably as an IT Director or similar position.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, digital transformation and software development.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets for IT departments effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capability.
- Cross-border or multi-ERP environments experience is an asset.
- Bilingual capabilities (English and French) would be an asset.
