We are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position based in downtown Montreal, with a 100% remote work option.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using modern technologies. They will collaborate closely with the development team to implement robust, innovative solutions emphasizing performance, security, and scalability.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES :

• Analyze functional specifications and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in designing software architecture for large-scale projects.
• Develop and maintain various web applications.
• Monitor and ensure application quality.
• Develop test strategies and implement unit tests.
• Create and maintain MS SQL Server databases.
• Produce documentation for application deployment, use, and support.
• Respond to user support requests.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

• Development expertise with C# .NET 6 and above.
• Excellent knowledge of IIS hosting.
• Experience with SQL Server databases.
• Good knowledge of modern design patterns and development practices.
• Excellent command of Bootstrap for front-end development.
• Experience with Hangfire for background task management.
• Knowledge of development and operational practices, including CI / CD.
• Experience with TFS, DevOps Server, and GIT.
• Deep understanding of modern software architectures (microservices, distributed services, etc.).
• Ability to mentor junior team members and solve complex technical problems.

THIS POSITION COULD BE FOR YOU IF YOU :

• Have a university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Have at least seven years of application development experience with C#.
• Are involved in designing and developing large-scale SaaS applications.
• Have experience with SQL Server in a production environment.
• Are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Possess proven customer service skills.
• Have good organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities.
• Manage stress and emergency situations effectively.
• Are available outside regular working hours for troubleshooting.

Knowledge of translation is a significant asset.

English proficiency is required for :

• Communication with international clients and partners, including regular oral and written communication.
• Working with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
• Drafting reports, proposals, and contracts in English for our international clients.
