What You’ll Be Contributing:

• Lead and evolve the Information Security program to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Hypertec Group's information systems and assets.
• Manage and develop the Information Security team, ensuring members receive the training and knowledge required to perform effectively.
• Define and implement security strategies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for security matters across departments, effectively communicating risk, objectives, and initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to support secure operations and data protection.
• Lead the response to major security incidents, including escalation, coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee and support internal and external audits to ensure ongoing compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST.
• Develop and enforce controls to protect sensitive data and ensure the security of information assets across the organization.
• Maintain and continuously improve company-wide security awareness training programs to foster a strong security culture.
• Oversee the Information Security Risk Management Program, including risk identification, evaluation, mitigation planning, and continuous monitoring.
• Lead the Vulnerability Management Program, ensuring timely detection, assessment, remediation, and reporting of system and application vulnerabilities.
• Establish, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and improve information security performance.

What Sets You Apart:

• 5–7 years of experience in Information Security, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven track record in leading and mentoring security teams.
• Professional certification required: CISM, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards: ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, applications, and data security.
• Strong understanding of ITIL practices and core IT service management processes is required.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and proactive approach to security management.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
