As an IT Business Analyst, you’re sharp, proactive, and collaborative. Highly organized, you take ownership from start to finish, delivering results with precision and energy.
Responsibilities
As an IT Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and external partners to ensure requirements are clearly defined and solutions align with business objectives.
- Coordinate and monitor assigned project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
- Support project planning by helping define requirements, test cases, and results.
- Participate in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and the successful implementation of new software solutions.
- Provide first-line technical assistance to end users for software operational day-to-day issues.
- Investigate and troubleshoot user-reported problems, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams or vendors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate testing, user training, and rollout activities.
- Track and report on project status to IT Senior Program Manager, highlighting progress, risks, and next steps.
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of one or more IT solutions and related systems.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve technical issues with a problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience contributing to major IT projects with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to understand and translate business needs into both process and technical requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled at working under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
