GPMM Opération et Maintenance is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all infrastructures and equipment of the REM, including vehicles, tracks, traction power supply, 26 stations, and two maintenance centers.

Under the supervision of the Systems and Networks Supervisor, the technician will handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of industrial systems and networks. The role involves working on servers, networks, industrial control equipment, ensuring infrastructure availability and security.
The position is based at our maintenance depots in Brossard and St-Eustache, with flexible hours to accommodate urgent service needs.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and update systems;
- Install, configure, and update network equipment (e.g., Routers, Firewalls, Switches);
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including security patches and updates;
- Backup and restore critical systems and equipment;
- Ensure connectivity of equipment and systems;
- Implement industrial security procedures;
- Monitor performance and ensure proper operation of infrastructure and systems;
- Manage access and security of systems and networks;
- Detect and report anomalies, failures, and cybersecurity threats;
- Diagnose and resolve system and network incidents, providing Level 1 / 2 technical support;
- Document technical procedures and incidents, updating documentation as needed;
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service continuity outside working hours.
Profile
Technical Skills
- Recognized experience in Windows administration and VMware virtualization;
- Experience in support and monitoring of industrial equipment and systems;
- Experience configuring network equipment (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet);
- Proven ability in diagnosing and resolving incidents;
- Good knowledge of automation and control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA);
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (MODBUS TCP, OPC UA);
- Understanding of network segmentation, including industrial networks;
- Familiarity with standards such as ISA / IEC, NIST, ISO 27001.
Qualifications
- College diploma in network management, automation and control, electrical engineering, or related field;
- At least 5 years of recognized experience as an industrial technician;
- Ability to prioritize tasks;
- Teamwork skills.
Contractual Information
Rotating schedule including days, evenings, and weekends, with 12-hour shifts.
