Role :

As a Senior Software Developer at Foundational Tech Online, you will develop and enhance creative tools for the Battlefield franchise, working with a dynamic team of developers, designers, and product managers. Your work will focus on creating online solutions that blend nostalgia with cutting-edge technology, supporting our community and enhancing player experiences.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions for the Battlefield franchise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features.
• Maintain and optimize the codebase for stability and performance.
• Engage with community feedback to refine features.

Skills :

• Strong understanding of C++ programming.
• Experience designing scalable software systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Optimization expertise for performance and efficiency.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with C / C++.
• Knowledge of network topologies used in gaming.
• Experience with complex consumer software products, algorithms, design patterns, debugging, and memory / performance optimization.
• Experience with distributed real-time systems.
• Ability to write maintainable, testable code.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Nice to Have :

• Experience with Visual Studio, Perforce, large test-driven codebases, and CI practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Gaming industry experience.
