This AAA title is a third-person action-adventure RPG, combining narrative-driven and strategic gameplay. Job Description

As a VFX Artist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing stunning real-time visual effects in the game. You will bring the design team's vision to life through impactful special effects.

Responsibilities

• Create real-time VFX and particle systems.
• Create animated shaders and post-FXs.
• Create real-time and/or baked simulations.
• Implement VFX assets in the game editor.
• Optimize VFX assets and shaders according to the project's technical guidelines.
• Collaborate with designers, programmers, and technical artists.

Knowledge / Skills

• At least 5 years of experience as a real-time VFX artist.
• Experience with character and gameplay related VFX asset creation.
• Understanding of Unreal Engine 5 and Niagara.
• Knowledge of a 3D modeling software (Maya, 3Ds Max or Blender).
• Knowledge of Houdini and Substance is an asset.
• Ability to adapt your style to the art direction of the project.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with a AAA game is considered an asset.
