Job Description

This position will focus on Mobile Device support. This includes setup, programming, troubleshooting devices and printers. IT/helpdesk support to 500+ users in numerous locations. Support will include Desktop/Laptop hardware and software support, application support, printer support, user administration, email, and remote access support. Ability to communicate both written and verbal in French and English.

Major Job Duties

1) 70% Mobile device support

  • Program Mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot device/printer issues
  • Package and ship replacement devices
  • Ship devices in for repair
  • Complete all paperwork required
  • After hours on call support
  • Answer Tech Support calls and create Tech Support requests

2) 15% Helpdesk

  • Monitor Helpdesk
  • Helpdesk first responder to users
  • Resolve basic issues (hardware and software)
  • Contact next level of support
  • After hours on call support
  • Special projects given by the Network Manager

3) 10% PC Administration

  • Computer Administration (build/rebuild desktops, laptops; etc)

4) 5% Network Administration

  • User Administration (add users; setup shares; etc)

Job Qualifications

High School diploma, some computer/network training or experience. Mobile equipment (Honeywell) knowledge and skills are a plus. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to get along with others is required. Computer and Networking knowledge or training is also a plus.

Essential Job Functions

  • Professionally communicate written and oral in French and English
  • Respond and complete basic Helpdesk requests
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
