Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Reports to: VP, Sales, Enterprise

Job Description:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating qualified Sales Leads to assist the Sales team in generating opportunities which will contribute to achieving our business development goals, drive sales pipeline growth, and increase net new revenue. This role involves a combination of strategy, collaboration, and hands-on participation in daily SDR activities. The SDR collaborates closely with the VP of Sales, Enterprise and the broader Sales Team to ensure alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate qualified Sales or Opportunity Leads which will be measured and monitored (KPIs).
  • Provide input around SDR KPIs aligned with our sales and business growth objectives.

Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales, Enterprise to design and execute campaigns and initiatives to support revenue goals.
  • Analyze campaign results and team metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee and manage the scheduling of sales appointments and routes for the sales team.
  • Ensure the CRM system is updated consistently and accurately by the team.
  • Maintain and improve processes related to lead management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Participate in high-value customer interactions to model best practices and support the team.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on sales leads and inquiries, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs and aligning them with company solutions.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the VP, Sales Enterprise and VP, Sales Small Businesses, other SDR team members, and the entire Sales Team to coordinate activities and share insights.
  • Represent the team in meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in sales or business development role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Comprehensive Sales Knowledge: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and business development targets. Experience in outbound prospecting, lead generation, and sales pipeline management. Familiarity with the company’s POS products and customer base is preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration: Strong desire to collaborate with others, with a track record of inspiring and working within a team.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Demonstrates professionalism, diplomacy, and tact in all interactions.
  • Language: Proficient in French and English; Spanish preferred.
