The Opportunity :
The Marketing Specialist supports key growth initiatives by providing marketing and communications services to internal and external clients and stakeholders in Canada.
He or she contributes to developing and implementing marketing plans, objectives, budgets, timelines, and key messages aligned with WSP's strategic goals, brand, and business targets. The specialist also delivers marketing tactics to target audiences and industries in Canada, in line with WSP's global brand. The role actively contributes to increasing brand awareness, supporting business development, and aiding talent acquisition.

What you can expect to do here :
- Build strong partnerships with key sector stakeholders.
- Create clear briefs, targets, differentiators, and messages supporting WSP's strategic objectives.
- Implement marketing initiatives such as thought leadership content, events, sponsorships, advertising, and social media campaigns.
- Execute initiatives with attention to detail, adhering to processes, deadlines, and budgets.
- Report on initiative performance (ROI) and progress regularly.
- Assist internal colleagues and executives with ad hoc requests.
What you'll bring to WSP :
- A Degree in Marketing or Business Administration with 5+ years of experience in B2B or services marketing, developing and executing strategic marketing plans.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills in French and English, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of AI tools.
- Experience in a global engineering or professional services environment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision in a global setting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience collaborating with global teams and supporting senior leadership.
- Creative, innovative, and adaptable to industry changes and new marketing channels.
- Interest in current marketplace trends and activities.
