Digital Marketing & Events Specialist
Hybrid contract role in the insurance industry for a seasoned communications and event planning professional. Drive national marketing initiatives, lead external firm events, and support retail account strategies. Responsibilities :
Plan and manage large-scale external insurance firm events nationwide. Oversee event logistics including venue selection, vendor coordination, and budget tracking. Develop tailored communications for advisors, firms, and internal teams. Design and execute digital marketing campaigns and collateral. Monitor firm performance data to provide actionable insights to sales leaders. Manage national marketing allowance budgets and reporting Source and coordinate branded promotional items for firm initiatives. Foster relationships with firm back-office teams and advisor experience contacts. Collaborate with internal partners across finance, IT, training, marketing, and compliance. Represent the retail accounts team on key initiatives and project committees. Lead internal training, presentations, and team meetings as communications subject matter expert. Manage external and offshore creative service vendors. Propose innovative strategies to elevate firm engagement and marketing impact. What you will need to succeed :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Excellent written, verbal, and facilitation skills. Excellent command of both French and English, essential for drafting communications for advisors, firms, and internal teams across Canada, and for collaborating effectively with national stakeholders. Proven ability to manage projects and execute events from end to end. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Comfortable working across multiple business functions and stakeholders. Ability to interpret data and provide strategic marketing insights. Strong relationship management and collaboration skills. Creative mindset with a strong grasp of brand identity and visual standards. Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable with change and fast-paced environments. Understanding of customer service excellence and experience with promotional sourcing. Background in financial services or insurance industry is considered an asset. Why Recruit Action?
