Analyst Financial Market

A career in Financial Markets Operations at National Bank involves contributing to the development and execution of the bank's financial markets strategy and wealth management. This role offers the opportunity to realize your ambitions through active participation in processes related to market events such as Dividends, Interests, and Corporate Actions, both domestic and international.

Key responsibilities include :

• Analyzing and processing financial market event bulletins from various depositories.
• Ensuring the publication of memos related to market events.
• Assigning files to appropriate sectors based on event nature.
• Verifying processed files.
• Managing shareholder materials for annual meetings.
• Proactively making recommendations to address issues raised by business partners.
• Learning end-to-end processes surrounding market events.
• Collaborating with other teams and partners.
• Carrying out testing on new initiatives as needed.
• Work hours typically end at 5 pm, depending on operational needs.

Your team :

You will report to the Director of the Market Events Support team within the Financial Markets sector. The team comprises 12 members, and you will work closely with a subgroup of 3-4 analysts.

Your onboarding includes an 8 to 12-month training period to master market event concepts, our business, and technologies, supported by colleagues with diverse expertise.

Prerequisites :

Knowledge of additional languages is beneficial for communication with international service providers or partners.
