Job Description

WB Game Montreal is seeking a talented Senior Advanced VFX Artist to create stunning visual effects to surprise and delight our players.

Your New Role…

In this role you will work closely with feature teams, to design and create effects that will elevate the game experience to next level.

As such you will actively drive one or more major segments of the VFX department’s work and participate in determining the direction, the quality bar and best practices. You will be involved in the development and creation of reliable VFX production pipelines for both gameplay and cinematic effects.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Work with Art Director and feature teams to elevate the game experience by designing and creating real-time particle effects across the scope of the game.
• Develop creative direction regarding VFX techniques and style to maintain consistency throughout the user experience.
• Work with multiple feature teams to assess and prioritize their requirements.
• Collaborate with tools and tech team to enhance VFX pipeline.
• Research and prototype new techniques as required and share knowledge within the team.
• Act as a mentor to other team members, participate actively in creating an open constructive feedback environment and support the adherence to best practices amongst your peers.
