The Scrum Master will focus on developing innovative solutions for aggregating and displaying company information. They will support team members in applying Agile practices, processes, and behaviors to execute effectively and with quality. The Scrum Master will enhance team performance through impediment management, continuous improvement, and facilitating ceremonies.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of Agile events and project management practices.
- Support the Product Owner to align team actions with product goals, vision, and roadmap.
- Identify and address impediments affecting team progress, using tools like burndown charts and OKRs.
- Analyze team metrics and trends to improve performance.
- Facilitate team events such as planning, retrospectives, and demos.
- Coordinate story decomposition, estimation, and cross-team dependencies.
- Manage interactions with other teams and synchronize at the product level.
- Assist in balancing short-term and long-term benefits, promoting a shared vision.
- Promote understanding and adoption of Agile principles within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in project or program management, or business analysis.
- Minimum 3 years as a dedicated Scrum Master.
- Experience in technology, data management, financial services, or federal government sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Data ecosystems, ITIL, IT Service Management, and data analytics platforms.
- Advanced understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Ability to build relationships and act as a trusted advisor and coach.
- Effective collaborator with Product Owners and squads.
- Fluent in customer-centric approaches and continuous iteration based on feedback.
Assets
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., DASM, DASSM, PSM).
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Planview Portfolios AgilePlace.
- Fluent in French and English.
This is a remote, fixed-term contract for 10 months, with a schedule from Monday to Friday. Preferred candidates will have experience with Power BI, Kanban, and relevant certifications.
