The Opportunity

This role is a 6-month contract position, focused on translation requests from the Store Support Operations department, and they must be able to deal with confidential documents with a high degree of security and accuracy. The focus on translation will be Canadian French primarily for product name translations and overall proofreading.

What You’ll Do

• Providing translation services and advising on the accuracy of French / English content for our internal team such as training materials, video, and documents
• Assist with drafting and editing written content for reports and other materials, including highly confidential documents
• Formatting data collected for presentations
• Liaising with departmental staff to support translation and development of content for various purposes
• Upload translated materials into internal Company systems
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent verbal and written English AND French
• University Degree (preferably in linguistic / translation-related studies)
• Demonstrated understanding and brand awareness of UNIQLO specific to QC market
• Proven extremely high level of attention to detail and highly organized
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient with computers and programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications
