Are you looking to grow in an innovative technological environment (Kong, Kafka, Snowflake) and contribute to exciting projects related to investment management? Join us! We currently have a permanent position available on the IT Solutions Delivery – Investments team, which is involved in major, multi-year projects covering finance, treasury, and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in defining the required functions, services, or technical components.
  • Collaborate with the team on solution design, following a "just enough – just in time" approach, using best practices supported by centers of excellence.
  • Apply and contribute to the development of functional rules, technical specifications, design standards, and solution delivery frameworks.
  • Actively contribute, along with other subject-matter experts, to the implementation of solutions and the execution of activities such as: proof of concept and prototyping, various validations, effort estimation, test strategies, testing, operational and user documentation, training, knowledge base articles, etc.
  • Conduct or support various levels of functional and technical testing, and assist partners in this area.
  • Maintain documentation necessary for the sustainability of designed or existing components, as well as contribute to the roadmap for evolving IT assets under the team’s responsibility.
  • Support monitoring, improvement, and maintenance of applications, systems, and practices in your domain or area of expertise.
  • When required, carry out certain technical, development, configuration, or quality assurance tasks based on the needs of the context.

Desired Profile

  • College diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or any other relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an IT analyst role.
  • Basic experience with programming languages, databases, or other technologies, depending on the context (C#, Azure, Kong, Kafka, Kubernetes, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps, and ITIL, and the ability to apply related best practices.
  • Experience with investment management systems such as Eagle, Bloomberg, Kyriba, Efront, etc. (strong asset).
  • An advanced level of French and English is required, as the person will be working and collaborating with both French and English-speaking vendors and clients at iA. The role also involves participating in French and English meetings and delivering presentations in both languages on a weekly basis.
  • Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry is considered an asset.
