The role :

The incumbent is responsible for planning production, controlling inventory and coordinating the organization of work in collaboration with the team in place and in accordance with cell policies and procedures. He / she also has good stress management, is able to work under pressure with short deadlines. Has good analytical skills, good organizational skills and obvious planning and coordination skills. He / she is ready to get involved in the strategic decisions of the cell. Finally, it is results-oriented and productivity-oriented through effective priority management. Your role will be to plan the production of certain cells in our factory.

More specifically :

• Understand the interdependencies within the manufacturing environment itself as well as those with other groups.
• Identify / optimize cell bottlenecks to ensure adherence to the overall production plan on schedule.
• Perform daily monitoring of scheduling plans and make any necessary adjustments.
• Act as a resource person for customer service, engineering, project management and manufacturing cells.
• Make recommendations for staff adjustments or leveling of production according to the horizontal plane (workload vs capacity).
• Analyze the availability of material inputs in order to adjust the workload release plan accordingly and collaborate with the purchasing department to mitigate the impacts on the production plan.
• Analyze the new requirements of the master plan and make the necessary changes.
• Work closely with engineering groups and project planners to meet deadlines.
• Promote clear communication between the parties and ensure follow-ups.
