Domain Knowledge & Experience
- Accounting Movements & Files: Strong understanding of banking data files (e.g., flat files, XML, CSV) containing high-volume financial accounting movements, debits, and credits.
- Core Accounting Concepts (Preferred Plus): Solid functional understanding of General Ledger (GL) systems, Balance Sheet accounts, non-balancing account entries, and Chart of Accounts (COA) framework concepts.
- Financial Accounting Hubs: Practical experience dealing with data ingestion, translation schemas, and transformation rules within an enterprise financial accounting integration layer.
- SDLC & Process Tools: Proven familiarity with standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, change control procedures, and daily operational proficiency with Jira.

- Pipeline Automation: Design, optimize, and maintain robust Linux shell scripts to manage background file processing, scheduling, and error handling.
- Database & Pro*C Maintenance: Optimize and debug backend processing components using Oracle PL/SQL and maintain legacy batch code written in Pro*C.
- Analysis & Enhancements: Perform impact analysis for mapping updates or platform migrations. Map transaction flows accurately to standard GL lines and COA guidelines. Provide clear effort estimates for development and unit testing cycles.
- Testing & Release Coordination: Execute unit and integration testing protocols for interface configurations. Create, submit, and track change requests (CR) following corporate SDLC compliance guidelines.
- Process & Compliance: Maintain real-time task tracking in Jira. Provide daily progress updates to management and adhere strictly to institutional client data policies and security compliance requirements.
