À propos du poste
We are looking for a Senior Account Director to lead the commercial rollout of Ciklo across Canada, through two main channels: the promotional product distributor network and the retail channel (major chains, specialty retailers, institutional stores). This role is for an experienced, self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record of negotiating major contracts and an established network in one or more of these channels across Canada.
Develop and negotiate new strategic accounts with promotional product distributors across Canada.
Develop new retail accounts (major chains, specialty retailers, institutional stores) on a national scale.
Pan-Canadian
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing high-value distributor and retail accounts
Negotiate major commercial agreements: pricing, volumes, logistics, and marketing conditions
Develop and execute a pan-Canadian territory development plan with clear sales targets per channel
Conduct competitive intelligence and propose positioning strategies for Ciklo in each market
Manage your pipeline and accounts in the CRM (Odoo)
Collaborate closely with the product, marketing, and production teams to deliver high-quality projects
Represent Kotmo at trade shows, summits, and meetings with strategic distributors and buyers across Canada
Provide occasional mentoring and support to junior sales representatives
Vous pourriez être la personne idéale si vous :
Have 5 to 10 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in promotional products, distribution, or the trade of detail
Have a proven track record of closing major accounts and exceeding quotas
Already have an active network of distributors and/or retail buyers across Canada
Are comfortable negotiating complex agreements (price, volume, logistics and marketing conditions)
Are comfortable with and understand CRM logic — an asset if you know Odoo
Are motivated by numbers, results, and compensation
Demonstrate autonomy, rigor, and strong organizational skills
Are interested in sustainable development, design, and the circular economy
Are bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing
Are comfortable traveling occasionally across Canada to meet with distributors and buyers
Able to manage multiple negotiations and strategic projects
Compensation
This position is structured to reward performance: a competitive base salary combined with a high commission on the gross margin generated by your sales. This structure reflects current practices in the promotional merchandise industry for strategic key account development roles.
Base Salary + Commissions + Bonus
High commission on the gross margin generated, with progressive tiers based on the achievement of annual targets.
The details of the compensation grid will be presented during the interview.
Attractive total compensation potential for a candidate who meets or exceeds her targets, including an additional signing bonus for major new distributor or retail accounts.
Autres conditions
Full-time position, flexible hours; Friday afternoons off
4 weeks of vacation upon hiring — including 2 weeks during the office closure for the holidays
Group insurance after 3 months
An entrepreneurial culture based on collaboration, communication, and transparency
Training and coaching in a stimulating work environment
Social, charitable, and sports activities
3 flexible days off (sick, health)
Representation budget for travel across Canada, trade shows, and client meetings
