CoreFactor is searching for a Bilingual (French/English) Specification Specialist on a contract basis for a client located in Montreal, Quebec.
This position is hybrid and will require the successful incumbent to travel between the Montreal and Laval offices.
The Opportunity:
Our client has made significant investments in SAP ERP systems, including the Recipe Development (RD) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The SAP RD database provides a comprehensive technical product data repository which includes quality, manufacturing, product development, packaging, process technology, auditing SOPs and regulatory information.
As a member of a dedicated project team formed to complete the work of building product recipes and specifications, this role is responsible for documenting product recipes and product specifications based on current processing information and legacy documentation. The role will work closely with Product Development, Manufacturing Operations and Food Safety/Quality team members to ensure SAP RD system information is accurate and complete. The scope of work includes auditing of manufacturing processes and creation of recipes, specifications, work instructions and quality measures.

The Role:
- Validation and mapping of manufacturing process
- Research and source raw material information from legacy sources
- Analysis of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and legacy documentation
- Creation of recipes and specifications using SAP Recipe Development system, based on manufacturing process and BOM
- Conduct validation session with Product Developers, Quality Assurance and Operations teams
- Project management including tracking and communicating scope and completion rates
- Leverage report capabilities in SAP RD to find opportunities for standardization, detect potential errors of consistency and missing data
- Support training of personnel at the manufacturing site on system and data structure
- Participate in weekly meetings with internal cross-functional business partners to provide status updates and ask questions.
- Work collaboratively with cross‐functional stakeholders to generate required recipes, specifications and reports in accordance with project timelines.

- English and French language proficiency
- University degree in a related discipline, e.g. Food Science, Quality Assurance or Nutrition, Science or College Diploma in Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND 10+ years technical experience in Microsoft Systems engineering, Cloud Administration, Network engineering, or equivalent experience. Microsoft Industry or product specific Certifications 8+ years of Hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Servers, Azure, O365, Active Directory/Azure AD, Exchange (On-Prem/O365/Hybrid) and RDS. 8+ years technical experience working with large-scale cloud and Enterprise environments. 8+ Years Hands on experience and deep knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell Verified Certifications: Microsoft and other Technology platforms: VMware, RHEL, Cisco…etc Advanced knowledge managing cloud technologies (such as Azure, AWS and Google) Solid experience with Microsoft Servers and knowledge of Server hardware. Solid knowledge of Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Routing, Load Balancing) Solid knowledge of Security fundamentals (eDiscovery, IAM, MFA and firewalls) Experience in container technologies and automation Ability to participate in on-call rotational shifts, during non-standard business hours that may include evening, nighttime, weekends, and/or holidays. Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills, including documenting configuration and support information. Strong customer service focus and attention to detail Desire to take on big challenges and the ability to see the big picture as well as the details. Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Security and compliance Platforms Experience with Microsoft Teams Experience with Linux RHEL Experience managing Microsoft workload for Manufacturing/CPG companies. Ability to lift and move standard office equipment (i.e. computers and peripherals). Ability to travel across North America and within the GTA based on project requirements.
